Spark of Hope 113 – Thank you! Powerful simple words, capable of changing a person’s outlook on the day, or maybe their whole life. The Harvard Gazette reported observing heightened motivation and self-esteem in team members when leaders seized opportunities to say “thank you.” Did you know there’s an entire website dedicated to sharing gratitude messages? Visitors are reminded: “Being grateful is a habit. Take 5 minutes every day to enforce this habit.” Can’t think of enough thanks to fill the time? There’s a plethora of appreciation to motivate you at ThankfulWorld.com. In an article for parents entitled, “10 Ways to Raise a Grateful Kid,” PBS reiterated the research; people who practice gratitude feel considerably happier. Hope is like a spark; if the conditions are right, it can spread like wildfire. Hope feeds the soul, ignites passion, and inspires others. Tucked inside each of us is a child-like spark that says: never forget to dream, play and imagine. HOPE is the extraordinary spark that says Huge Outcomes are Possible Everyday!
