It is our honor to introduce you to Bob Deits, M.Th.
Bob is an internationally recognized authority on grief and loss. His book, Life after Loss, has become a classic since it was first published in 1988. The present 5th edition was published in 2009. It is translated into 7 foreign languages.
He’s serves as a pastor, frequent speaker and conference leader for hospice workers, nurses, military chaplains, ministry programs, grief seminars, and more. In 2008, he provided the keynote address at the World Burn Congress in Raleigh, NC.
Bob and his wife, June, are currently participants in a ground-breaking research project for treatment of Alzheimer’s disease at The Banner Alzheimer’s Institute in Arizona. June has been battling the disease for a number of years.
Bob’s endorsement for When Mom’s Cancer Doesn’t Go Away led to a collaborative work with Hope Matters Productions—a pending title for families coping with Alzheimer’s. Additionally, he’ll bless our readers as a regular guest blogger on the subject of grief and loss.
