Spark of Hope #60 – Facebook Answers!

Spark of Hope #60 –  I keep falling off the face of Twitter, I’m not steady on Pintrest and Facebook is my only social media constant. Writing, speaking engagements, event planning, and too many other tasks to list are keeping me incredibly busy. I love all of it because I am blessed with opportunities to make a hopeful difference in people’s lives. My husband is patient, encouraging and supportive–a blessing for which there are not enough words! Lately though, I feel a heart-prick every time I speak about well-being and balance, and not wearing all the hats (or you’ll wear out). I’ve been praying this repetitive prayer: “please show me where to let go, who can I trust and with what hat?” Then, I saw an answer. It came through a post written by a survivor friend who’s battling a recurrence. I sought prayer and she was seeking to use her social media expertise. A match made in Heaven! We’re still working out the details, but there isn’t a person I’d be happier to give one of my hats. Pretty soon I won’t fall, I’ll be steady and I’ll remain constant on the world wide web of possibilities. Prayer always brings hope and HOPE makes Huge Outcomes Possible Everyday!

What hat is weighing you down?

Hope is like a spark; if the conditions are right, it can spread like wildfire. Hope feeds the soul, ignites passion, and inspires others. A world without it is like a world without possibility. Tucked inside each of us is a child-like spark that says: never forget to dream, play and imagine. HOPE is the extraordinary spark that says Huge Outcomes are Possible Everyday!

  1. It always is the battle. Each of yours has a common theme of hope as you say. Satan would have us divide out to the point in which we are effective at wearing none. Always seems to me there is one hat that feeds your soul, that brings you back to balance, and is the one God gives to remind you are His special child of purpose. That is the one to nurture and not slip away from your grasp. It is the one do which you feed a heart of care. That hat is different than all the rest for it has your name writers on it on the outside and the label on the inside says “made by God for you” That is your true Hope Hat.
