Knowing Matters – Teenagers as Caregivers

Did you know? Studies show that children have a calming effect on people with Alzheimer’s. With over 14 million in-home family caregivers, teenagers are often helping too when grandma or grandpa moves in. In addition to helping with aging relatives, the 1.4 million child caregivers across the U.S. are also assisting with disabled or sick family members. Take a moment to say thanks, to our nation’s big and little caregivers.
